How far in advance should I place my order?
All orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance of your requested pickup or delivery date. This allows us to source fresh ingredients and prepare every meal to the highest quality. For weddings, corporate events, and large catering orders, we recommend you use the Reservations Page
When is the best time to place an order?
New orders can be placed Monday through Thursday. We strongly encourage customers to order as early as possible, particularly for weekends, holidays, larger orders, and special events.
All pickup and delivery orders require a minimum of 48 hours' advance notice and remain subject to availability.
Is St. Lyn Catering & Events a restaurant?
No. St. Lyn Catering & Events is a home-based catering service in the Bronx, New York. We specialize in freshly prepared Nigerian cuisine, small chops, pastries, soups, stews, bulk orders, and event catering. Our meals are prepared specifically for confirmed orders, and we do not operate as a walk-in restaurant.
Can I walk in and purchase food?
No. We do not offer walk-in restaurant service. All food is freshly prepared for confirmed advance orders.
Do you accept same-day orders?
No. Our standard requirement is a minimum of 48 hours' advance notice. Larger orders and orders for busy weekends, holidays, and special occasions should be placed even earlier.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes. Pickup is available for confirmed orders. Standard pickup hours are 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Earlier pickup may be available for an additional $10 fee and must be arranged and approved in advance through WhatsApp at 646-294-5089.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. Delivery is available through Uber Courier services. Delivery fees are separate from the food order and depend on the customer's location and the applicable courier rate on the scheduled delivery date/time.
How far in advance should I place a large catering order?
Our minimum notice is 48 hours; however, large catering orders should be placed as early as possible to allow us to confirm availability and adequately prepare for your event.
Can I customize my catering order?
Some menu items and larger catering orders may be customized. Please contact Info@stlyncatering.com for catering inquiries or special requests before ordering so we can confirm availability.
What if my requested date is fully booked?
Because our meals are freshly prepared and we limit the number of orders accepted to maintain quality, certain dates may become fully booked. We strongly recommend placing orders early, especially for weekends, holidays, and special occasions.
